| 1) I no longer see the point of my blogging. I'll resort to good 'old-fashioned' email and IM to keep in touch with my friends miles away 2) I don't need, and never needed my blog as a sounding board 3) I don't have any desire to update my blog, perhaps because my life's not so interesting nowadays, or just plainly because I don't have too much I want to broadcast to the WWW. And so, the curtains are coming down on this blog...goodnight. | | |
| Woah...that's a mouthful...it's been a while since, but I haven't had the energy to blog about it. Anyway, it was awesome! Pin and I went through quite a bit in the 2 days leading up to it, hence my prayer below. Interestingly enough, when I was led to write that prayer, I didn't even know that it really was a prayer I needed for the next day. Looking back, I have really learned about trusting God, and surrendering to Him, and evenmore about how He is a jealous God, and that He and He alone is worthy of praise and glory. And after months of labouring for this event, we took a much-anticipated weekend off from our usual weekly responsibilities at church services as well as work....and took time out to rest and relax and just spend time with each other - we actually put off celebrating our anniversary and Pin's birthday til that weekend. When we have events, we get so consumed that all we ever talk about consists of 'event-related stuff', so it was a really really nice time to just reconnect. So let me just leave you with some photos from merdeka high praise 2007!

| Oh God, guard my heart, guard my mind, guard my tongue. Let me not give in to anger, frustration, impatience or disappointment. Let not the devil interfere with my worship to You, let not the devil take any glory due to You. Keep me focused...keep us focused...help us surrender to You, Lord...Spirit, help us die to ourselves...that the glory may be all Yours. Amen. | | |
| Would appreciate if you're reading this, to pray for and with me - especially with the upcoming Merdeka High Praise (see a few posts below). - Pray for strength as Pin and I see the last stage prep and details through
- Pray for peace that I will not give in to frustration
- Pray for patience with the people I serve with
- Pray for health - I have a nagging cough and also an 'almost-fever' - just at the border. Been like this for a week already...and not getting better.
- Most importantly, pray for God's hand to cover us and for His anointing
